Dušan Joksić is a young and talented artist who is deeply invested in discovering his own distinctive artistic voice. His work is shaped by a blend of intellectual rigor and imaginative creativity, which he uses to express innovative interpretations through his musical performances.

Dušan was honored as the "Best Student" at the Music Academy in Belgrade and has received numerous accolades, including the Meri Žeželj Award, the Thorle Foundation Award, and the Johannes Brahms Foundation Award. He has performed internationally in Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Serbia, among others.

When interpreting works, Dušan remains true to the original intentions of the composer, while also sensitively infusing his own artistic vision. He has a deep passion for Contemporary Music, frequently performing new works, and also Baroque music, historically informed performance practices, which he studied with Gerhart Darmstadt.

An avid chamber musician, Dušan's primary interests lie in string quartets and piano trios. During his studies, he had the opportunity to perform in various orchestras in Hamburg and Bremen, as well as with the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble. He is also a member of the Donne Quartet, with whom he has been performing regularly for the past four years.

Born in Serbia, Dušan graduated from the Academy of Music in Belgrade before continuing his education in Hamburg. There, he completed his master’s degree and Konzertsoloexamen (Soloist Class) in 2025 with distinction, under the guidance of Professor Sebastian Schmidt. His artistry has been deeply influenced by his ongoing collaboration with Professor Goran Gribajčević, whom he has worked with since 2023. Dušan has also received invaluable insights from notable musicians such as Meesun Hong Coleman, Roi Shiloah. Dušan has also expanded his musical horizons through masterclasses with renowned musicians, including Ulf Hoelscher, Ulf Wallin, Stephan Pikard, Christian Altenburger, Simone Zgraggen, and Lieke Te Winkel, among others. These experiences have significantly enriched his artistic development and further shaped his unique approach to performance.
